Adaptive Fitness Training

Nationally-certified health, strength, and wellness programs designed to improve fitness for those with physical, mental, and cognitive disabilities.

What is it?

You’ll begin with a consultation with one of our certified adaptive training specialists centered entirely on comfort level, physical mechanics, and personal goals. We sit down with you and your caregivers or family if preferred, to completely understand your health history and specific cognitive and physical needs.

When you step onto the floor, you will find an environment that completely adapts to you, not the other way around. Our specialists remain engaged at all times, providing focused attention and tailoring each exercise.

As your comfort and capabilities grow, your program does the same right along with you. We continuously check in and refine your routine, focusing on functional strength that translates directly into greater independence in your daily life.

What if the person I am inquiring for needs a modified program?

In addition to owning Physique Lab, Adam Nissensohn is the proud dad of two sons, one who has Autism. He has a personal understanding of the needs for each Special Needs person and will work directly with you to ensure the best fit program for your loved one.

The person I am inquiring about has a aide. Is that a concern?

Caregivers and one-on-ones are always welcomed to accompany members.

Can my family and I work out with our special needs loved one if their membership is paid through DDD?

Physique Lab’s gym memberships are a great opportunity for families to work out together, and we will work with you on packages.
